Dockor och leksaker- Dolls and toys

First I want to thank every one that comment on my last post about language. I will now try to write in both Swedish and English =) Blue for Sweden (like our flag, well its yellow too, but lets just have blue here..) black for English (Just coz black is a great text-colour =) )

I found lot of cute toys on this blog, well the entire blog is brilliant =)

I love toys and I love dolls, so here is a picture of some I found in my stash =)

I made the body for this doll, but the porcelain parts are purchased. I made the body of pipe cleaner and then I sewed clothes for her. Now I begun thinking of giving her hair, instead of the painted one. But it might just be ugly and time-consuming =) We'll see.

I made this strange doll when I was 7 years old =) I think it looks a bit scary .. Maybe it's the eyes.. I do not know if she is dancing or what... I loved to make figures out of clay when I was little and I hope to see my daughter do some soon too, it may take awhile, she's just 1 years old, but in a couple of years I bet she will make cuter characters than this weird looking one =)

By the way I did some flowers to my greenhouse today, but they were embarrassingly ugly! I kill the real live flowers I have and I make ugly miniatures, flowers may not be my thing? I was allergic to them as a child and can still not cope with hyacinths and never visits flower shops to avoid allergic reactions... but I will not give up =) I'll try again later ...

  2. Hi Hannah, thank you for writing in English; it makes it so much easier for me to follow your blog.
What a funny, cute little puppet you made when you were just 7 years of age! The love of dolls was already there, I can see that :D
As for the flowers; I am just like you with real flowers and plants; they always die in my house and on my balcony!!! But now I am practising on making miniature flowers...perhaps I have more luck with those...

    1. Hope you have better luck with the flowers! Do you make them in clay or paper or? I tried paper-flowers now, and that was hard =) But it might go better if I get better punches =)
