Guess what I got:

Yes, I won Pirkkos giveaway =) Jiipppi for me! Actually she had to make a redraw since the first winner didn't show, I feel a bit bad for that poor person, but I'm very lucky I got a second chance and got to be the winner at last.
I have won giveaways before when my own creativity is lacking and I feel a bit down (just like I have done right now), then I win a giveaway and get more creative and happy again =) I think I need to be at least a little creative to be happy =) But I wonder if I should feel down more often, so I can win more often ;) Winning wonderful miniatures from wonderful miniaturists are truly wonderful!!

Pirkko added lots of candy, she gave me two of each, which made my husband really happy, he got half =) Both of us love liquorice and chocolate, so this was perfect. And look at the cute card! (I'm sorry the picture wasn't that great.. it was a bit too dark when I shot it..) And a wonderful flower, that I put in a vase I had (a bead). Thank you Pirkko! wonderful gift. I'm so happy.

Will see if I take another vase later, just tried it out for the photo.

 And the "big price" the blanket with wonderful patchwork! And very cute cushions. I tried it on my bed

Look how great it fits my bedroom, I haven't made any bedding for this bed, no pillows or anything, so this was just perfect. Sorry to show such a mess in the house..

I also got patterns for patchwork, to try on my own. I did try patchwork before, once or twice, and it was a mess... Not a straight line anywhere.. I hope I have a better luck now that I have these patterns =) I will try when I get the time, that could take awhile.. =)

I won =)

Natalia had some very generous giveaways last new year. And I was very lucky to win one =)
I have never made curtains before (or I made a very simple one for grandmas roombox) but now I hope I will finally try making some for my house. And the fabric is perfect, goes very well with my wallpaper I think. It might be a curtain, or a sofa, or maybe both =)

But I try to work on things to sell now, and save my own house for later =)

But every now and then I make something for myself too =) Like a teddy bear for my unnamed dog. The Petterssons dog =)

Just look what he did to that poor teddy bear.... ;)

I'll do more "used" teddy bears later. I found a poodle I made years ago, before I started needlefelting, and just tried to make it out of wool anyway, it wasn't great, and mums real dog thought it was a great toy, so he chewed on it, and all I got left was a piece of wet wool... And I started thinking of a song I liked as a kid, "Gammelnalle" with "Mamma mu". (Old teddy bear) I loved it, it was about an old teddy that lost his arms and legs, but he was still happy =)
Nothing in the real world is perfect, so why not have some broken old things in my mini house as well =)

But back to the "selling-stuff", I've made some fimo angles.

And started painting them =) This is the first one, looks like I've missed a spot on the neck, I have to fix that later!

I lost my inspirations this weekend, but I hope to get back on track soon =) Just looking at minis makes me want to start "working" again! (or should I say play, its more fun than any work I can think of ;) )

A fantastic gift

Giving is fantastic, but I have to say; getting presents can be quite fantastic too ;)
One day before Christmas (you know we Swedes celebrate Christmas eve the 24th, and get our presents from Santa that day, I know for example you Americans have to wait another day for that ;) )
Anyway, the 23/12 I got a package with many great things from Sushi flavour. I won her competition/giveaway and a gift voucher of 100kr in her webshop. Such a pleasant surprise. I just went ahead and ordered straight away =) This is what I got:

Air drying clay, deco glue, fake sugar, mini-beads, and extra presents; ice cream glasses and 2 canes

Johanna even added some extra gifts, 2 ice cream glasses and 2 fimo canes. I was very happy! Still am ;)

You should all go visit her shop and her blog. She makes wonderful jewellery and have lots of fun crafting materials. I look forward to make some ice cream out of this later. I have never worked with air drying clay like this before, looking forward to try =)


I can take the opportunity to show my mini-related Christmas presents too =) I got a big bag from my mum, to keep my crafting things in, and she already filled it with lots of great stuff.

Filled with fabric, fimo gloss varnish, wooden sticks, fimo clay and doll clay (and much more).

And my grandmother gave me some furniture to build =)
(And some ribbons I put in the bag.)

And some tools for cutting things.

I got so many presents this year, I most have been really nice ;)

I will keep having the Christmas spirit and enjoy the company of my family. My mini-making seem to take a break, but I hope to be back after the holidays =)

Snow!!

 I got this lovely knife a few days ago. I won Doriens giveaway =)

And now to the snow, this is more like it ;) We had a storm here in Sweden a few days ago, worse in south Sweden and not much here in the middle/north... But there were some wind and it did snow quite a lot. I was so happy =) (Because I love snow)

Can you feel it? I think I do now =) The Christmas spirit is seeking up on me =) And.. I manage to do one more dog. (Not from the new wool I was washing, I used some "old" one first) I don't know if I'm finished with this one... or if I should add brown, grey, curly fur, long fur or something.. I have no clue what breed it is.. it was suppose to be a west highland white terrier, then it became a big chihuahua, then I made the ears go down and made it into...nothing...

Do you have any idea what breed it is? =) Should I add some wool to make it look more like a special breed, or just let it be a mixed breed?! =)

My daughter was very happy for the gift, she plays with the "dollhouse" and opens the door and make a baby doll go trough it, and close it again =) And then she plays with the furniture out side of the "house". Her favourite is the toilet =) and the bed.

We are very careful to put pictures of our baby on the net, so this is all you get, a picture of her back ;) But its a pretty back, the worlds prettiest I think!

Today we got to light the second candle (out of 4 before Christmas) and I wish you all a: "God 2:a advent" (Happy second advent)

I'm so lucky! I won a giveaway again =) From Esthig. She is one of my favourite toy-maker! Her toys are so inspiring and well made! Just look at these:

Fantastic toys!!

The books are even "readable" if I only remembered the Spanish I did learn once ;)

The paper clips are fantastic, so small! And the buttons are very cute, I might use some for cloths, but I will have to try to make a bunny or a teddy bear too =) I don't know how it's possible to sew these tiny dolls and bunnies. And guess what?! The bunny can move his arms and legs!!

And the car, beautiful details, just perfect! I will have to practice a lot to get this skilled =) Thank you again Esthig!

I'm working on a wardrobe myself right now =) Having trouble deciding if I should paint it white, or leave it. I do like wood, and I have never fancied white furniture, but I realized I did make a bit of a shabby chic bedroom, with the white floor and the cute flower wallpaper.. hm.. I'm starting to like the shabby chic stile more and more, but I want to have lots of colours in my house, and some wood.. (I do love others shabby chic rooms, but I always thought it wasn't for me...) I'm making another wardrobe, just like the first one, right now, so I can paint one white and have one in wood-colour ;) And try selling on a fair later =)

These are NOT done yet! I will add sliding doors, all the "walls" and a clothes rail to hang the cloths on =)

 

Now I just need lots of cloths and shoes =) And to finish these wardrobes of course ;)

My second winnings this summer

Like I said, I did win second price in Irinas giveaway =)

I'm thinking of painting the table in another colour, hope Irina thinks that's OK =) I haven't decided were to put it yet, as you know I'm not finished with my house, so I haven't got the time to think about how to furnish it yet..
And Yes, I did get something extra too! A Christmas present!! That's so exiting! And I was so happy, and I did wait like half a day before I opened it ;) Yes, I could not wait.. Lucky for me the note said I could open it when ever I wanted, I really tried waiting until Christmas, but... it didn't go that well... ;)

This is what I got in the secret present =) I love it!! Such great things. I believe Irina made them herself?! I think that mirror is wonderful, and a great idea, to use (I think it is) punchies as a frame! And for the candle too. I just love home-made things. Its very personal and fun to see what others do =)

I feel SOOOOO greatful to have won these lovely things and I like to say a big Thank you to Irina again =)

I won! again =)

Had a bit of a bad day and doubted everything I did today.. but I have to emit the purse I was a bit sad over, it looks better on picture, and it wasn't a total disaster, its quite cute.. ;) But, anyway I had one of my bad days, I have them all the time.. but I guess that's how it is when you create stuff, sometime its great and goes so smooth and well, and the other day you just fail or cant really get it right.. (that's how it is for me anyway).
But last time I had a bad day, I won Annes giveaway, and today I won Liduinas giveaway. I really should have more bad days ;)

But now I have to go to sleep.
But I will just ask one thing first =) I'm thinking of giving my doll some "real" hair, do you think it will be possible? I will have to cover the pained hair she got..
Not that she isn't cute as she is now, its just it would be fun to make her a little bit more unique =)

I love children's books! My printer is broken so I cant do any books myself, so it was really nice to get some from Anna! And the candles are so beautiful, fits right in my big house (which I plan to decorate quite colourful) and my first tablet ever =)

After a lot of hard considerations I picked number 7, Maria Ireland as the winner of the little sheep =)
Her tips was about avoiding this:

I use to use a wooden toothpick to get my glue on to things, but after awhile the glue stucks on the wood and you have to throw it away and take a new one.. But Maria just tipped me that I could use plastic toothpicks and clean them and use them again and again. That way you don't have to throw lots of wooden once away every now and then =) A great tip for me who never want to throw any thing out ;) I will go look for a plastic one right away! =)

Can Maria please contact me, if you leave a comment with your e-mail, or your address so that I can send you the sheep. I will not publish your comment of course, its just so that I can get in contact with you.

And I had a hard time resist giving a sheep to a sheep-lover too, so Sara, contact me also and I will make a sheep for you too =) As we can read on her blog she just turned 30, so this second price will be a bit of a delayed birthday gift too ;)
