Gifts again

4 months, my baby is 4 months old, how did that happen?!
Life is catching up with me and I thought of taking a miniature break, but I just can't, I have to make a little something every now and then, to feel good. I would go nuts if I never get to make something creative.. so every now and then I make something, but I don't have much time to work with, so the blog is often left for later.. =)

I showed you gifts last time, I knew I should have waited a day or two, because more gifts were on the way. Jennifer is so sweet, and when I won her giveaway, I got a few (a lot of extras) to share with my kids. We had a blast looking through that package =)

Lovely cards made by Jennifer

In Sweden when kids go to the dentist they often get to choose a present after, from a big box of things, this reminded me of that, but we didn't have to chose only one thing, we got the whole box =)
My daughter and I divided the things between us, and she put hair clips in both her own hair, mine and on her favourite sheep =)

Stickers, with my daughters favourites =) She loves Lalaloopsy right now (And Hello Kitty) First we loved EAH dolls, then they stop selling them in Sweden, now when we found Lalaloopsy, they have stooped selling those too... Bad luck for us..
Any way my kid was very happy for the stickers, we made posters for her dollhouse, her Lalaloopsy dolls were very happy with their new posters =)

Then I got this in the mail too, I bought these candle holders from Finland, found them in a Facebook group; Lundby Lovers
They are inspired by Alvar Aalto's candle holders. I just love them.

My Instagram followers have already seen this picture but I share it again here =)
Like I said, I try to make some miniatures every now and then. This little dog was waiting for me, without legs, for a year, finally he got some legs =) Now he is just missing eyes and a nose.. I wonder how long it will take to make them... I try to finish some unfinished objects right now =)

And I had a bit of fun photographing Aragon while he visited my dollhouse family =)

Lovisa was so happy to see uncle Aragon again =)

Jon was more sceptic, since Aragon missed his birthday, but this skateboard made him light up again ;)

Hope you all are doing well, I read blogs every now and then, wont be able to comment as much as usual, but I like following you and I just can't keep away from the miniature-/blogworld for too long, so I guess I'll be talking to you soon again =)
Until then;
Take care

Dolls and stick horses

One day my daughter asked me to do a blue mini stick horse for her dolls. She sat by my side the whole time and was very happy when I was done. (Now she wants to be a grown up so she can needle felt herself...)

I got stuck in horses for awhile.. But now I want to move on to something else.. But it's nice to do a lot when I feel like it, then it might take years until I want to do another horse again =)

As you could see on my Instagram, I did manage to do a dress for poor mini Blythe. It was harder than I thought.. But first I did a dress for a naked Lundby mum, it was easy and it fits perfectly.

Then I thought it would be easy to make another dress for LPS Blythe, but I was wrong...
The dress just came apart and the fabric wanted to come apart and then I used a lot of glue.. and in the end I just forced it on the poor doll after taking her head off.. The dress came apart again and I used more glue and now she is stuck in the dress.. =) Might be for the best.. I don't want to make another dress for a long time now...

Here she is with her friend.
(The dress on the right is not made by me, only the left one)

Finally she was able to leave the bedroom.

The girls had a nice time in the livingroom. (My daughter thought Lalaloopsy should be in the picture too!)
And we had some rainy days, so the girls got to watch the same TV show me and my daughter watched this week; Pippi Långstrump (Pippi Longstocking)

I went looking for my Lundby furniture at my mum's basement, found a whole box of Lundby dolls =) Some will move in to the Lundby Dallas house.

I have gotten stuck in buying dolls too, I just love them, the apartment is quite full of dolls and miniatures by now.. Barbie, Ever After High and all kind of small dolls.. But since Sweden stop selling EAH I got a bit mad and don't know if I want to buy more.. it's not as fun to order abroad and they even deleted the whole EAH site in Swedish, and all the episodes are gone. So now me and my daughter can't watch them together.. I know they still make new ones in English, but she doesn't understand English yet.. and I think it was much more fun to watch them together with her.. and when they even deleted the old episodes so we can't even watch our old favourite ones I just gave up! But I'll save all my EAH dolls, and maybe I'll buy Kitty and Cupid too, really want them, but have to look abroad then.. But the Swedish prices were crazy, so I understand they didn't sell good enough.. 2 times or 3 times the price on Amazon.com, that is just stupid.. But when they gave up EAH they sold them very cheep, so I have manage to get hold on some new ones for a good price, have to take pictures of them some day..

But now I just rest a lot, building up some energy for times to come..
Take care

Lundby Dallas in action

Things are happening in the Dallas house. First we had to do some cleaning:

Daddy got a new ride

And a scary Furious Smurf was lurking around

(No doll was harmed during the photos)

And then there were lights!

And a 3,5 year old girl REALLY interested in mommy's dollhouse

(Lots of work to be done, wires to hide..)

(I have to dig deeper into my old boxes of furniture, I think there are more kitchen pieces to be found..)

And a swap with Sara, with a doll that my daughter snitched right away..

I was not going to have any Lalaloopsy dolls, there are too many dolls out there for me to collect everything.. but this one is so cute I had to have it, and now I want more.. (I almost doesn't have this one, since my daughter say it's her collectable doll, that she collects, and I can't play with it, (wonder what she got that from ;) ) but she lives in my dollhouse)

And finally there is a cranky doll in the house that refuses to get out of bed until I give her some clothes..
Tried cheering her up with a teddy bear, but I agree, she should get some clothes..
And a name.

Take care
I'll try making some clothes for poor LPS Blythe now..
(Update: here are a dress, not the best one.. but I might try again later.. https://instagram.com/p/7Ioc5EAm1Q/ )

Needle felting and flee market findings

Summer is going to it's end (but here in Sweden we finally got sun and some heat, I have been missing that yellow warm thing!)
My husband got back to work, me and my daughter are back to being home alone.. with a big stomach and some serious back pains. But we have been outside enjoying the sun a bit, me on a bench, while she has been running around the playground.
I hope I will have time for some bloging and reading blogs this autumn, but I'm afraid I wont have much time for miniatures this autumn since the baby is expected in less than 2 months now! Were did the time go? But now it feels like I'm stuck in time, with pains and a big (Everyone keeps saying I have such a small stomach) bump that just wont let me move.. I'll be so happy once the baby is on the outside instead of the inside, being pregnant isn't my favourite thing to be.. But I keep trying to think how fast 9 month will go.. But right now, stuck and unable to move..

Anyhow I saw Jennifer got an Instagram account, I started to look it up again.. After a few weeks I even downloaded the app for my phone, but never opened it =) Then Jane Chérie talked about Instagram too, and now I finally manage to open the app and open an account, so now I'll try to learn and maybe post some pictures there too. I do love blogging because you can write, a lot.. =) And I tend to do that.. I'm better at writing than taking pictures, but it's fun to take pictures too, and I will try to combine these two, and I love to follow others and see all their amazing pictures. So if you have an account I should follow, let me know =) And if you want to follow me, this is my accound: Hannahsminiatyrer

I haven't felt like doing much lately, I'm just too tired for everything now, but I haven't given up on needlefelting just look at the bunch of cats and giraffes appearing the last months..
I do dream of attending another fair, maybe next year?! I try to do a few minis to add to a "selling box", and hopefully I'll have enough things to attend a fair next autumn =) I hope to bring my daughter too, she is a great helper and I think she would like to see all those miniatures =)

Yesterday we went to a big flee market, I was looking for dolls and dollhouse furniture. No more dollhouses =) But.. The first thing I saw, was a nice Lundby Dallas house. Original wallpaper, just like I want it! And nice condition. It lacks a few plastic things for the windows, a door to the garage down stairs, two parts for the fence, and a half door to the stable at the side and the front downstairs. The chimney is loose, I have to glue it back on the roof later.
Here you can see the house in the catalogue of Lundby 1975: http://dollhouse.mine.nu/download/ws/lundby-/lundby%201975_VS.pdf

 With the "front" attached

Without front wall

Also found a box of furniture. I'll see if I'll keep everything or sell a few of them (I already have the stove, since I was a kid, really like that one, but now I have two of them =) )

I also found this cute littlest pet shop Blythe. I have been looking for them =) I was so happy to find her, and she was very cheap too =)
A great day at the flee market! Sunny and great findings =)

Ever After High: Apple White

Found myself a new doll on Tradera (Swedish ebay). She was in good condition, but without a box (I do love to have the box for them too, but this one was much cheaper).

Apple is the daughter of Snow White. (I think it's a bit weird that she has blonde hair, not black like Snow White..) Anyhow she isn't a favourite of mine, in the series, but I liked her bag so much I wanted the doll =) And she is a beautiful doll, and my daughter love all dolls with blonde hair... And she is a main character, so it's nice to have her.

She has a cute crown.

The back of her hair looks a bit strange.. But it looks good in front.

Her apple bag can be opened. Like I said, I really like that bag =)

Raven and Apple

All my Ever After High dolls (so far ;) )

And my boxes, where I normally keep the dolls, to get them dust free =)

Ever after High: Cerise Hood

My creativity is still low.. I tried making leaves for my tree with clay, took too much time.. Anyway I was more into the idea to use paper, but I have no good paperpunch for it.. maybe I should just buy one.. We will see how I'll do.
But guess who is sick again?! This is my third cold in four month! It's just not fair.. =) But a cold wont kill me, so I prefer that over something really bad, but I feel really tired and down at the moment. Haven't even been up to reading blogs lately either.. Hope to start doing that again soon, it always cheers me up =)
But let's take a look at a new doll =)

I saw Mattels pictures of Cerise before, and I wasn't that impressed.. But then I saw a doll and I loved her, seem to be different versions of her.. More about that can be read here: http://rayedelsol.com/cerise-hood-version-differences/
But my doll has golden dots on the lips, not silver like the new ones... hm.. And I think I have the first eyes.. but the second stand.. Anyhow, I love my Cerise doll. I'm so glad to finally get her.

Cerise is such a great character and a beautiful doll.
Cerise is the daughter of Red riding hood (and the big bad wolf, that's her secret, her father is a wolf)

This doll had to travel from UK to me in Sweden, for an OK price =)

Some of her hair was attached to the arm, with a rubber band. I got rid of that now. The hood had a plastic thing inside, so that it would stay up. (It stays up good even without the plastic-packing-thing)

The rest of the hair comes out of the hood. (I just love the print on the hood/cape)

She has a plastic picnic-bag. I haven't been able to open it, so maybe one shouldn't be able to do that..

She shouldn't have a black dot in her face, but mine has.. But I kinda like it =) a miss in the painting, but that makes her a bit more unique ;)

Since her father is the Big Bad Wolf, she has wolf-ears. I have to say I'm quite disappointed on the ears, looks more like an elf of something, than a wolf. In the webisodes the ears has fur on them, more realistic.. But I'm glad at least they are pointy.

A pleasant surprise was her pointy nails. That's a bit wolf-like and cool =)

She has long legs ( I like that, since I always had quite long legs myself =) ) And I think her leggings and shoes are very beautiful.

She is taller than for example Madeline.

I'm very happy with my new doll. I have so many now, more than half of the basic dolls =) But it looks like no Swedish store sells any of the new ones =( The Ever After High doll shelf keep getting smaller and smaller, I'm afraid they will cease to exist here very soon.. But I might just have to buy a few more, from other countries instead.  =)

Take care
