Dolls' house details Over 500 craft projects in 1/12 scale - Kath Dalmeny
I bought this book from a Facebook group. There are many projects and some of them looks very interesting. I hope to try some of them soon. Some on the other hand are very easy and a bit amateur-looking. I can't say that I'm impressed by for example the food in this book, but the toys are more my style =) There are many great templates and good ideas.
It's published the year 2000, and I get a 90's feeling from it.
You can have a sneak peek in this book here: http://www.amazon.com/Dolls-House-Details-Kath-Dalmeny/dp/0715313673#reader_0715313673
As you know I'm a book-lover and I'm happy to have one more to my collection.
Last but not least I'd like to share a new tune from my husband:
http://boray.bandcamp.com/track/monday I think this is my favourite on his new album, and since today is just Monday, I wanted to share it with you all =)
Take care
Hannah

Hi Kikka! I like when they give a preview of a book like that, it's easier to know if you want to buy it or not then =)
DeleteYa nos ensañaras lo que has aprendido con tu nuevo libro.
ReplyDeleteEspero que tu marido tenga mucho éxito con este tema.
Thank you Isabel!
DeleteCongratulations for your new book and thanks for the link.
ReplyDeleteI tried to link to your husband's music without success. You must be very proud of him. Will try later through Youtube.
Hugs, Drora
Thank you Drora! His webpage is: www.boray.se if that is easier to link too?? Thank you for trying to make a link =) And yes, I'm very proud of him =)

Yes, but it didn't work like I thought, bought the book some months ago, but didn't even get enough inspiration to write about it until today ;) But I spend a few days out on the balcony just looking in this book, that's why I love books, I can sit anywhere and just look =)
DeleteI haven't heard of this book before, but it seems interesting to me. I saw the comment of Kikka and did the same ;O, it was a great tip, Kikka!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing, Hannah!
Hugs, Ilona
You make such great things I can't see you needing a book to know how to do things.. ;) But books are great, and I love to be able to hold it and look, it's not the same thing on the net, but there are many great things out there =)
DeleteYour book looks very interesting. I love looking through books. I hope we can see something you make from it soon :)
ReplyDeleteHugs Maria
I love that too, I've always been a book-lover =)
DeleteHi Hannah,
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a great book filled with ideas and tutorials. I am off to listen to your husbands new song. Thanks for sharing!

Lisa
Thanks Lisa, hope you liked it =)
DeleteLooks like a great book! Can't see what you are inspired to make from it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lindsey!

Thanks Jane!
DeleteHi Hannah, it looks like a fantastic book! I love those type of books but I am not a crafty person, even with tutorials. I guess I don't have the patience it takes! I can't wait to see what you will create!
ReplyDeleteI don't make much furniture for example, but I love just looking at books with furniture tutorials anyway so I can see how you like to look, but don't make things =) I hope to get a proper workspace for wood in the future, and to clean up my clay-workspace, maybe then I'll craft more, but until then I'll just look through books every now and then =) Maybe you'll get the patience to craft something yourself one day too =)
DeleteYour book looks very interesting,I can only imagine how many wonderful projects will!
